The Hunger Project UK is excited to launch the A Day in Her Food Campaign. By registering on the website (the "Website") www.adayinherfood.org you are accepting the following terms and conditions:

 

1.Data and Privacy

By registering on the Website you agree to The Hunger Project UK collecting the data you share with us, and contacting you via email and/or phone. If you no longer wish to be contacted please email ukinfo@thp.org

The name ‘A Day in Her Food’, the logo and any other product that we may present on the Website or its associated services from time to time may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not The Hunger Project UK's, nor in any manner that is likely to cause confusion, or in any way that may disparage or discredit The Hunger Project UK. Logos may not be used without the express permission of The Hunger Project UK.

 

3.Copyright

The ‘A Day in Her Food’ campaign and concept and all content on the Website and its associated services is owned by The Hunger Project UK. You may copy content for your own personal, non-commercial use provided you do not alter it or remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice. Commercial use or publication of all or any item displayed is strictly prohibited without prior authorisation from The Hunger Project UK.

 

4.Fundraising

All funds raised on the A Day in Her Food campaign are in support of The Hunger Project UK, a registered charity in England & Wales 1164839 and a company limited by guarantee registered in England & Wales 9583057.

The Hunger Project UK encourages challengers to fundraise using online platform JustGiving.

If fundraising online, challengers accept the terms and conditions of the online platform they choose to fundraise with. The Hunger Project UK cannot be held responsible for the performance or running of third party websites.

 

5.Personal Health and Parental Consent

The Hunger Project UK does not undertake responsibility for the health and safety of those participating in the A Day in Her Food challenge. Medical advice should be sought prior to the challenge, including in the case of intolerances and allergies, and reasonable precautions should be taken during the challenge. Participants should follow manufacturer/packet instructions for ingredients that they purchase for the challenge. Participants should cease the challenge immediately if they feel unwell. Additionally, anyone under 16 should seek consent from a parent or guardian in order to take on the challenge.

 

6.Website

The Hunger Project UK provides the content on the Website in good faith but gives no warranty or representation that the content is accurate, complete or up to date nor that the Website does not infringe the rights of any third party. The Hunger Project UK accepts no responsibility or liability for your use of content on the Website and such use is entirely at your own risk. While The Hunger Project UK takes reasonable precautions to prevent the existence of computer viruses and/or other malicious programs on the Website it accepts no liability for them.

A person who is a party to these Terms of Service agrees to the following: 
I acknowledge that I understand the nature of all the activities involved in my participation with the A Day in Her Food challenge. I accept all risks necessarily flowing from my participation. I agree to indemnify A Day in Her Food's organiser (The Hunger Project UK), from any liability arising from my personal actions, where such actions are contrary to the policies of the organiser, the rules, or the directions from team leaders and organisers. I agree that the organisers of A Day in Her Food (The Hunger Project UK), and all other persons, corporations or other organisations associated with the campaign, are not liable for any loss or damage suffered by myself or others arising from my involvement with the challenge and organisation. I hereby indemnify those persons, corporations and organisations against all liability, loss or damage arising from my participation.
